Introduction
Crayside Cattery takes the privacy of your information very seriously. This policy explains how and for what purposes we use the information collected about you via our website or by you calling in and registering your details. Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using the Site and/or any services we offer via Crayside Cattery, you are agreeing to be bound by this policy in respect of the information collected about you.
Crayside Cattery needs to gather and use certain information about individuals in order to carry out the service you require. At any time you can opt out from receiving information from Crayside Cattery.

We will collect the following personal information from you:  name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number(s), your cat(s) veterinary information, boarding information and boarding price.
Although it is not compulsory to give us this information, if you do not then we may not be able to provide you with the full range of services we have to offer.

We will use this information in order to: send you information about your boarding requirements and services we offer for you and your cat(s).

We will not pass your information onto third parties without consent (however, we may need to give your information to your/our veterinary surgery in the interest of health and safety for your cat(s)).  You can tell us to stop this at any time by sending an e-mail to cats@craysidecattery.co.uk.  
Other than as set out above, we will not disclose any of your personal information without your permission unless we are required by law to do so (for example, if required to do so by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime).
Information automatically collected from your computer
When you visit the Site our web server automatically records your IP address. This IP address is not linked to any of your personal information.
We may also gather other non-personal information (from which we cannot identify you) such as the type of your internet browser which we use to provide you with a more effective service.

This agreement describes the terms and conditions under which you will use the services at Crayside Cattery. By completing your booking form you agree to all of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement, please do not use this site or register with us.
Staff training
All members of staff will be up to date with our data protection policy and your privacy. Which include:
Purpose Limitations: personal data should be only collected for specific explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible to carry out the services Crayside Cattery offers.  
Storage Limitations: Crayside Cattery must identify when it is no longer necessary to store personal data.
The consent obtained from the data subjects is valid for the time stated in our privacy policy and must be within reason. There is no legal timeline stated, but as a business we must decide when your details are no longer necessary for legal or legitimate use.
Data Minimisation: The process of only collecting data that is relevant and for a specific purpose. It is very important that we are able to justify why we are collecting the data about an individual
Accuracy: Personal data must be kept accurate and up to date. This is to make sure we are only keeping relevant data.

When we do need to use third Parties (such as veterinary surgeries for care of your cat(s)), this will be with your agreement in advance, with only the most basic of information being given in order for them to carry out their duties.

We will not release data to anyone without being sure it is the person requesting this data and ID may be requested.
